Poker League

In response to the global pandemic and the need for connection during a time of isolation, I developed and managed an online poker league. Starting small with a close-knit group of friends, the league grew impressively to incorporate 150 members, creating a robust, vibrant community centered around the love for poker.

Hosting almost 300 poker tournaments and managing 12 full seasons of poker, the league utilized a carefully crafted algorithm for tracking player points. This helped maintain the competitive spirit while also providing transparency and fairness in gameplay. A sense of achievement and recognition was fostered through awarding gold bracelets to each season's winner, a tradition borrowed from professional poker circuits.

This project not only reflects my organizational skills and ability to foster community, but also showcases the application of my expertise in data management and analysis. To deepen the understanding of player performance, I utilized statistical methods and visualization techniques, making the data accessible and comprehensible for all participants.

Moreover, this endeavor has allowed me to expand my professional network, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds. It has served as a platform for the exchange of ideas, fostering camaraderie and collaboration, with relationships formed here extending beyond the poker table to the professional sphere.
